The six

Every feature belowserves one of six jobs

A law firm website earns the first call by doing six things. The long list underneath is how each one is built. Take hold of the seal and turn it, or read the six as text.

Drag to turn

  1. Answer the matterOne page for each matter the firm takes, opening with the answer to the question the person typed. A single practice areas page with a paragraph per area answers nobody.
  2. State the termsWhat the first conversation costs, how long it lasts, who the person will speak to and what happens after it. Stated on the page, in the wording the firm approves.
  3. Name the attorneyAdmissions with the state and year, the courts, the matters the attorney actually takes. The bio is the last page a serious client reads before calling.
  4. Open instantlyCustom-coded static pages from the edge, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed in writing. The person searching on a phone is deciding in the first second.
  5. Route the enquiryConsultation requests into the intake CRM with the matter type attached, by API, Zapier or Make. Nobody forwards email out of a shared inbox.
  6. Stay currentAttorneys, hours, fees and terms kept right every week, because a site that has gone out of date costs the firm the call it was built to earn.

Every feature

Every feature, what itdoes and which plan has it

The short answer: the website, speed, search, hosting and upkeep are on every plan; the AI receptionist, chat widget and messaging agents are on Chambers and Firmwide; social posts, reels and your Google Business Profile are on Firmwide. Here is each feature with the problem it solves for a firm and what you have to do.

The website

Written and built for your firm, on every plan.

  • One page per practice area

A dedicated page for every matter type the firm takes, opening with the answer to the question a person actually searched, with the consultation terms on the page.

    The problem it solves
A single "Practice Areas" page answers nobody, so the person searching for a Chapter 7 filing or a custody hearing calls the firm whose page speaks to it.
    Your part
Tell us on the onboarding call which matters you take. Approve the drafts.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Attorney bio pages with admissions

A page for each attorney with bar admissions, courts, focus areas and a plain paragraph on how they work a matter, linked from the practice areas they take.

    The problem it solves
The bio is the last page a serious client reads before calling, and a pasted resume gives them nothing to check.
    Your part
Send admissions and a headshot, or let us draft from the onboarding call.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Office, county and courthouse pages

A page for each office and for the counties and courthouses you appear in, with address, hours, directions and local process details you approve.

    The problem it solves
A firm with no page for the neighbouring county it serves every week has nothing to show when someone searches for a lawyer there.
    Your part
List your offices and the counties you cover. Approve the local details.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Consultation requests into your intake CRM

Every form, estimate and after-hours inquiry is delivered into the CRM you already use, by direct API, Zapier or Make, with the practice area, office and page attached.

    The problem it solves
A request emailed to a shared inbox on Friday night is answered on Monday, after two other firms have already replied.
    Your part
Tell us which intake tool you use. If you have none, we recommend one and set it up.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Fee and retainer estimator

An illustrative figure for a flat-fee matter, an hourly engagement at your published rate, or a retainer, labeled as not a quote, not legal advice and not creating an attorney-client relationship.

    The problem it solves
Not knowing what the first conversation will cost is one of the most common reasons a person never calls at all.
    Your part
Give us the fee arrangements you already publish, and approve every figure and sentence.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Compliance pages and notices

Privacy policy, terms of use, a cookie policy with consent that actually holds analytics back until a visitor agrees, an accessibility statement on a build made with WCAG and the ADA in mind, attorney advertising disclaimers, and a "no attorney-client relationship" notice on every form.

    The problem it solves
Firm sites often launch with a borrowed privacy policy, no cookie consent and forms that invite confidential details, and every state bar has its own advertising rules.
    Your part
Approve the wording, and tell us if your state bar requires specific language. These help you meet your obligations; they are not legal advice.

Speed, search and AI answers

How the site is found and kept fast, on every plan.

  • Fast pages, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed

Custom-coded static pages served from Cloudflare's edge, with 90+ PageSpeed on mobile and desktop written into the terms.

    The problem it solves
A person searching from a phone outside a courthouse does not wait for a slow page, and a slow landing page wastes the clicks the firm is paying for.
    Your part
Nothing. We check speed after every change we make.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Technical and on-page SEO

Clean URLs, titles and descriptions per page, internal links between practice areas, bios and offices, a sitemap, and redirects for every old address when you move to us.

    The problem it solves
Many firm sites have no page for the matter being searched, and a redesign that drops old addresses loses what little they had.
    Your part
    Nothing beyond approving the pages.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Answer-ready content for search and AI assistants

Answer-first headings, FAQ blocks on the pages that need them, an llms.txt file and consistent firm, attorney and office details, so answer boxes and assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can read and cite the firm accurately.

    The problem it solves
Some people now ask an assistant "who handles uncontested divorces near me" before they ever see a list of links, and a site that never states its answers plainly is hard to cite.
    Your part
Nothing. Nobody can guarantee a place in an AI answer; this makes it more likely.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Structured data (schema) on every page

LegalService, Attorney, Organization, Service, FAQPage and BreadcrumbList markup matched to the visible text, and Review markup only for real reviews you have permission to publish.

    The problem it solves
Without it, search engines have to guess which pages are practice areas, who the attorneys are and where the offices sit.
    Your part
    Nothing.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Local ranking within 3 to 5 months, guaranteed

Your site starts ranking for local searches within 3 to 5 months of launch, or we keep working at no extra charge until it does.

    The problem it solves
Firms pay for a new site and then wait with no one accountable for whether it is ever found.
    Your part
Nothing. The terms set out the guarantee.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

Managed for you

The upkeep nobody at the firm has to own, on every plan.

  • Managed hosting, SSL, backups and monitoring

Cloudflare hosting with SSL, a global CDN, DDoS protection, backups, uptime monitoring and security headers, all in the monthly fee.

    The problem it solves
Separate hosting bills, expiring certificates and plugins nobody patched are how small firm sites go down or get defaced.
    Your part
Nothing. There is no login for you to maintain.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • A domain in your firm's name, and your content

One domain free while the plan is active, registered in the firm's name, or your existing domain pointed at the new site. On cancellation we export your content and articles within 14 days.

    The problem it solves
Firms find out too late that a vendor registered the domain in its own name.
    Your part
Choose the domain, or tell us the one you already own.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Moving your current site, with redirects

We move bios, practice area content, office details and articles worth keeping, rewrite what needs rewriting, and redirect every old URL that holds rankings to its new page.

    The problem it solves
A redesign that ignores old addresses can undo years of search visibility on launch day.
    Your part
Give us access to the current site, or just its address.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Client portal and 5 revisions a month

A portal from launch day to request changes, raise tickets and send files. 5 revisions a month of any size, each completed within 2 to 5 working days, then $20 each. No hourly billing.

    The problem it solves
Small changes turn into hourly invoices, or into emails nobody answers.
    Your part
Ask for the change in the portal.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Weekly detail updates

Every week we ask what has changed: a new associate, holiday hours, a new admission, a changed consultation fee. We publish it within the week, separately from your revisions.

    The problem it solves
Firm sites quietly go out of date, still listing the associate who left and last year's hours.
    Your part
Reply to the weekly check-in with anything that changed.

    Counsel includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Researched articles every week

Long-form articles of 2,500 to 3,200 words on the questions people search before they call a lawyer, sourced, answer-first and always general information, never advice.

    The problem it solves
Nobody at a busy firm has time to write, so the blog stops after three posts.
    Your part
Approve each article, or let them publish on schedule and pull anything later.

The AI Engine

Answers, sorts and books. Chambers and Firmwide.

  • AI receptionist for calls the team cannot take

Answers in the firm's name, asks what the matter concerns, sorts it by practice area, takes the details and books the consultation. After every call you get a call-analysis PDF with the transcript summary, practice area, urgency and booking.

    The problem it solves
Calls at night, at weekends and while everyone is in court go to voicemail, and the caller rings the next firm.
    Your part
Approve the script before launch. It never gives legal advice and hands anything that needs an attorney to your team.

    Counsel not includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • AI chat widget on the site

A chat window on every page that answers questions about the firm from what you have approved, collects the person's details and books the consultation.

    The problem it solves
A visitor reading a practice area page at 11pm has a question and nobody to ask.
    Your part
Approve what it may say. Every conversation is logged for you to read.

    Counsel not includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • SMS, Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM agents

The same rules, answering texts and direct messages: they reply, sort the inquiry, take details and book appointments.

    The problem it solves
Messages sit unread in three different apps while the person contacts another firm.
    Your part
Connect the accounts once during onboarding. SMS opt-ins carry consent wording written with the TCPA in mind.

    Counsel not includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • Consultations booked into your calendar

The receptionist, chat and messaging agents book straight into the calendar you connect, so an inquiry ends as a booked consultation rather than a message to return.

    The problem it solves
Phone tag after a web inquiry loses people who were ready to book.
    Your part
Connect the calendar and set the consultation slots.

    Counsel not includedChambers includedFirmwide included

  • A2P 10DLC text registration filed for you

Carriers filter business texts from numbers without A2P 10DLC registration. We file it as part of onboarding so confirmations and follow-ups are delivered.

    The problem it solves
Unregistered appointment texts are filtered and never arrive.
    Your part
Give us the firm's business details for the filing. Carrier fees and AI usage are passed through at cost.

    Counsel not includedChambers includedFirmwide included

The Content Engine

Articles, social and your Business Profile. Firmwide.

  • 3 social image posts and 2 reels a week

Posts drawn from your articles and firm news, and short reels explaining one question in plain language, all linking back to the practice area page and the consultation form.

    The problem it solves
Posting falls to whoever has a spare minute, which at a law firm is nobody.
    Your part
Review before it publishes. Everything is general information, never advice.

Counsel not includedChambers not includedFirmwide included

  • Google Business Profile managed

Hours, categories, services, photos, posts and profile questions kept in step with the office pages on the site.

    The problem it solves
Many local searches end on the profile, and a profile with wrong holiday hours costs the call.
    Your part
Give us manager access to the profile.

Pages that open before the caller loses patience

Custom-coded static pages served from Cloudflare's edge, 90+ PageSpeed guaranteed in writing.

CounselChambersFirmwide

Why speed is the first feature on a law firm site

Speed comes first because the person searching for a lawyer is usually on a phone and usually in a hurry. Someone reading a charge sheet in a parking lot, or a daughter looking up probate on a lunch break, taps the first result and gives it a moment. If the page is still assembling itself, they go back and tap the next firm. We hand-build every site as static HTML with almost no JavaScript, so the page is finished before the browser has to think. The text is readable the instant it arrives, the number is tappable, and the consultation form works without waiting for a script to load.

How the site stays fast after launch

The site stays fast because nothing on it accumulates. There is no plugin stack to grow stale, no page builder injecting scripts, no tracking tags added by a well-meaning vendor. Images are sized and compressed for the device requesting them, fonts load with swap so text is never invisible, and every page is served from Cloudflare's edge close to the visitor. We check PageSpeed after every change we make. The guarantee is written into the terms: 90+ on mobile and desktop for the pages we build and host, and if one falls below that because of our work, we fix it at no charge.

One page per practice area, written to the question

A dedicated page for every matter type the firm handles, answer-first, with consultation terms on the page.

CounselChambersFirmwide

Why one page per practice area, not one page for all of them

One page per practice area is how a person searching for a specific matter finds a page that speaks to it. Nobody searches for "practice areas". They search for an uncontested divorce, a first-offense DUI, a Chapter 7 filing or a residential closing, and a paragraph inside a list does not answer that search. Each page we write opens by answering the question the person actually typed, explains what the matter involves in plain language, says what the firm does at each step, states the consultation terms and ends with the request form. That is also what gives a search engine a page to rank for each matter in each place you practice.

What each practice area page carries

Each page carries the same working parts, in the same order, so a reader always knows where they are. An answer-first heading. A short plain-language explanation of the matter for someone who has never dealt with it. What happens next and what the firm handles at each stage. The consultation terms, stated rather than hinted. The attorneys who take the matter, linked to their bios. A short set of questions people ask, with FAQ structured data matched to the visible text. And the consultation request form, wired to your intake CRM with the practice area attached. Nothing on the page is legal advice, and every page says so.

Keeping the pages accurate as the firm changes

The pages stay accurate because changing them is a weekly detail update, not a project. When the firm stops taking a matter type, the page is retired and redirected the same week. When a new attorney joins and takes over a practice area, their bio is linked and the page updated. When consultation terms change, every page that states them changes at once, because the terms live in one place. You send the fact; we publish it within 2 to 5 working days, and usually sooner for a single line.

Office and location pages for every place you practice

A page for each office, county and courthouse, with local process details and directions.

CounselChambersFirmwide

Why a law firm needs a page for each office and county

A page for each office and county exists because people search for a lawyer near them and for a court they have been told to appear in. A firm with one office and no location page has nothing to rank for the neighboring county it serves every week. Each office page carries the address, parking and directions, hours, the attorneys who sit there, and the practice areas handled from that office. Each county or courthouse page carries the local details a person needs: where to file, what to bring, how the process runs there, in general terms you supply and approve.

How location pages and Google Business Profile work together

Location pages and your Google Business Profile reinforce each other when the details match exactly. The name, address and phone number on each office page are written to match the profile, the hours are kept identical, and the page carries LegalService structured data with the same values. On the Firmwide plan we manage the Business Profile itself: posts, photos, hours, categories and the questions people ask there. On every plan, a change of hours or a holiday closure is a weekly detail update on the page and, where you have given us access, on the profile.

Consultation requests delivered into your intake CRM

Every form, estimate and after-hours inquiry lands in the CRM you already use, by API, Zapier or Make.

CounselChambersFirmwide

Why the form sends to your intake system and not an inbox

The form sends to your intake system because an email in a shared inbox is where consultation requests go to be forgotten. Every request from the site is delivered into the CRM your firm already uses, whether that is a legal practice management tool or a general CRM, by direct API where one exists, and by Zapier or Make where it does not. The practice area, the matter type, the office and the page the person was reading arrive with the contact details, so the first call starts with context. If you do not have an intake system yet, we recommend one and set it up during the build.

What the consultation request form asks

The form asks only what the firm needs to return the call: a name, a phone number or email, the practice area, one line about the matter, and whether there is a deadline the person knows of. Everything else is collected on the call. A short form completes on a phone in under a minute and does not ask a person in trouble to write their history into a box. Each field is labeled above the input, errors appear beside the field they concern, and the form works without JavaScript, so it never silently fails.

Conflicts and confidentiality on the form

The form carries a plain statement, in wording you approve, that sending it does not create an attorney-client relationship and that a person should not include confidential details until the firm has confirmed it can take the matter. Your intake process for conflict checks stays entirely yours; the site simply delivers the request to the place where that process starts. If your state bar requires specific wording on an intake form, we use it.

A fee and retainer estimator that gives the person a sense of scale

An illustrative figure for a flat-fee matter, an hourly engagement or a retainer, captured into intake.

CounselChambersFirmwide

What the estimator shows and what it does not

The estimator shows a person an illustrative cost for one of three arrangements: a flat-fee matter at the figure you publish, an hourly engagement at your published rate over a typical range of hours, or a retainer arrangement with the initial deposit you publish. It does not show a quote, a promise or a case assessment. Every screen states plainly that the figure is illustrative, that it is not a quote and not legal advice, and that using the tool does not create an attorney-client relationship. The point is to remove the fear of an unknown number, which is the most common reason a person never calls.

How the estimator is configured for each practice area

The estimator is configured from the fee arrangements you actually use in each practice area. An estate planning firm might publish flat fees for a will package and a trust package. A criminal defense firm might publish retainer ranges by charge category. A personal injury firm might not show a figure at all and instead explain its contingency arrangement in the words its state bar allows. You approve every figure and every sentence before it goes live, and changing a figure is a weekly detail update.

Every estimate becomes an intake record

Every estimate becomes an intake record because the tool asks for a name and a phone number or email before showing the figure, and delivers the estimate and the person's answers into your intake CRM the same way a consultation request does. Your team sees which arrangement the person looked at, which practice area and what they said about the matter, so the follow-up call is short and specific. On the Chambers and Firmwide plans the AI receptionist can also book that call directly.

Weekly detail updates that keep the firm's facts current

Attorneys, hours, terms, admissions and closures kept accurate every week, without you logging in.

CounselChambersFirmwide

What goes stale on a law firm website, and how we keep it current

Attorney lists, office hours, consultation terms and practice areas go stale on a law firm website because nobody at the firm owns the site day to day. We do. Every week we ask what has changed, and you reply with the facts: an associate has joined, the office closes early on Friday, a new admission has come through, the consultation fee has changed. We publish those within the week, separately from your monthly revisions, so the site never carries a name, a number or a term that is no longer true.

Why this is not a revision

Detail updates are not revisions because they are the ordinary upkeep of a firm's facts, and you should never have to ration them. A revision is a change request of its own: a rewritten page, a new section, a redesigned form. A detail update is a correction to something already on the site. Every plan includes 5 revisions a month for the former, and the weekly updates for the latter are simply part of managing the site.

Researched articles on the questions people ask before they call

Two long-form, sourced articles a week on Counsel and Chambers, three on Firmwide, always general information.

CounselChambersFirmwide

What the articles are for

The articles exist to answer the questions a person searches before they are ready to call a lawyer, so that when they are ready, your firm is the one they have already been reading. Each is 2,500 to 3,200 words, written answer-first, with a table of contents, cited sources for any figure, a short FAQ with matching structured data, and internal links to the practice area page and the consultation form. Two a week on Counsel and Chambers, three on Firmwide.

How the articles stay on the right side of the line

The articles stay on the right side of the line by being general information about the law and the process, never advice on a specific situation. Each carries a plain statement to that effect near the top and again at the end, describes processes in general terms, and points the reader to a consultation rather than to a conclusion. We do not write about results, do not characterise outcomes and do not invent statistics. Any figure in an article has a cited source that actually contains it. You review articles before they publish, and you can pull any article at any time.

Choosing the topics

Topics come from your practice areas, your counties and the questions your intake team hears on the phone. We keep a running list, you can add to it or strike from it, and each week we send the next two titles before writing them. Local guides, process explainers and question posts are the usual mix, because those are the searches that lead to a call rather than to a bookmark.

Managed hosting on Cloudflare with nothing itemized

Hosting, SSL, CDN, backups and monitoring in the monthly fee. Nobody at the firm needs a login.

CounselChambersFirmwide

What managed means in practice

Managed means there is nothing for the firm to maintain. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, with SSL, a global CDN, backups and uptime monitoring included, and none of it appears as a line item. There is no dashboard for you to update, no plugins to patch, no renewal reminder to act on. When something needs changing, you email us. When something needs fixing, we have usually seen it before you have. If the site is down for more than 24 hours in a month because of something in our control, that month is credited or refunded on request.

Security and confidentiality

A static site has a small attack surface because there is no database, no admin login and no server-side application to exploit. Form submissions travel over HTTPS directly to your intake CRM and are not stored on the site. We set security headers on every page, keep the build tooling current, and never publish anything you have not approved. Your domain is registered in your firm's name, and on cancellation we export your content and articles within 14 days.

The AI Engine: a receptionist that answers, sorts and books

AI receptionist, site chat, SMS, Messenger and Instagram AI, call-analysis PDF, A2P 10DLC filed. Chambers and Firmwide.

CounselChambersFirmwide

What the AI receptionist does on a call

On a call the AI receptionist answers in the firm's name, asks what the matter concerns, sorts it into the right practice area, collects the caller's name and number, checks whether there is a deadline the caller knows of, and books a consultation into the calendar you connect. After the call you receive a call-analysis PDF with the transcript summary, the practice area, the urgency and the booking. It answers at midnight on a Saturday exactly as it answers at ten on a Tuesday, which is when a criminal defense or DUI firm gets many of its calls.

What it will never do

It will never give legal advice, quote a fee it has not been given, or characterise how a matter might end. When a caller asks a question that needs an attorney's judgment, the receptionist says so, takes a message and passes the caller to your team with a summary. You review the script before launch, you can change it at any time, and every conversation is logged so you can see exactly what was said. The same rules apply to the site chat and to the SMS, Messenger and Instagram agents.

Text messaging and carrier registration

Text messaging from a business number requires A2P 10DLC registration with the carriers, and unregistered messages are filtered. We file that registration for your firm as part of onboarding on the Chambers and Firmwide plans, so appointment confirmations and follow-ups are delivered. Carrier fees and AI usage are passed through at cost, billed monthly in arrears, with the breakdown on every invoice.

The Content Engine: articles, posts, reels and your Business Profile

Three articles, three social image posts and two reels a week, plus Google Business Profile management. Firmwide.

CounselChambersFirmwide

What the Content Engine produces each week

Each week the Content Engine produces three researched articles instead of two, three social image posts drawn from those articles and from the firm's news, and two short reels explaining a single question in plain language. Everything is general information about the law and the process, written in the firm's voice, reviewed by you before it publishes, and never advice on a specific case. Posts and reels link back to the practice area page and the consultation form, so the content does the same job as the site.

Managing the Google Business Profile

Managing the Google Business Profile means keeping it accurate and active: hours, categories, services, photos, posts and the questions people ask on the profile, all kept in step with the office pages on the site. When you receive a review you have permission to publish, it is added to the site as a weekly update. When your hours change for a holiday, the profile and the office page change together. The profile is where many local searches end, so it gets the same weekly attention as the site.

Speed and ad spend

Why a fast site mattersif you run Google Ads

A fast landing page keeps more of the clicks you pay for and is part of how Google judges ad quality. Every page is built to 90+ PageSpeed, written into the terms.

Infographic with Tavish the raven mascot: Why a fast page matters. 90+ PageSpeed, in writing; Part of ad quality; More paid clicks stay; Easy to use on a phone.
  • Built to load fast: 90+ PageSpeed, in writing

Custom-coded static pages with almost no JavaScript, served from Cloudflare's edge, images sized for the phone asking for them. The page is readable the moment it arrives, the number is tappable and the form works straight away.

  • Why speed matters to what you pay for ads

Google Ads Help describes ad quality as including the experience people have once they reach your landing page, and says higher quality ads typically cost less per click. A faster, more relevant practice area page is part of that experience, so it can lower what you pay per click over time. It is one factor among several, and nobody can promise a specific reduction.

  • More of your paid clicks stay

Every visitor who leaves while a page is still loading is a click you paid for and lost. A page that is finished before the visitor has time to reconsider keeps more of the traffic you already buy, which helps reduce what each consultation request costs you.

  • Modern and easy to use on a phone

Large tap targets, a short consultation form that completes in under a minute, readable text without zooming and no pop-ups in the way. A person looking for a lawyer in a hurry is usually on a phone, so the site is designed for the phone first.

Ad costs depend on many factors. We never promise a specific cost-per-click, percentage or ranking.

Included on every plan

The compliance pagesyour site launches with

Each site ships with the policies and notices a law firm website is expected to carry, written for how your site actually works and approved by you.

  • Privacy policy

Written for how your site actually collects data: the consultation form, the estimator, chat and analytics. You approve the final wording.

  • Cookie policy with consent that really gates scripts

Analytics and marketing tags stay switched off until a visitor agrees. A banner that only says "we use cookies" while loading everything is not consent.

  • Terms of use

Plain terms for using the site, including that its content is general information and not legal advice.

  • Attorney advertising disclaimers

Built with attorney advertising rules in mind: an "attorney advertising" notice where your state bar expects one, no invented results, and any required wording you give us used exactly.

  • "No attorney-client relationship" notice on forms

Every form and the estimator say plainly that sending it does not create an attorney-client relationship and that confidential details should wait until the firm confirms it can take the matter.

  • Accessibility statement and an accessible build

Built with WCAG and the ADA in mind: keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, labeled form fields and alt text, with a statement telling visitors how to report a problem.

  • Text message consent wording

On Chambers and Firmwide, SMS opt-ins carry consent wording written with the TCPA in mind, and we file A2P 10DLC registration so texts are delivered.

These pages help you meet common obligations and are built with the rules in mind; they are not legal advice and are not a guarantee of compliance. You remain responsible for the rules of your own state bar, and you approve every page before it goes live.

  • What I value about the consultation preparation guide is its restraint. People come to the first call prepared, and nobody has been asked to upload anything premature. The link now goes out with our reply to every new inquiry.

How these features comparewith other options

Most of these features are what a builder, a plugin stack or a freelancer leaves you to assemble yourself. Each comparison page sets it out fairly, including when the other option is the better choice.

  • Versus doing it yourself on a builder

Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy and similar builders are cheap to start and fine for a placeholder. The cost is your time, and speed, intake and upkeep are yours to solve.

    Wix vs a managed site
  • Versus WordPress or Webflow

Powerful and flexible, if someone owns the updates, plugins or CMS. Ours is managed end to end, with nothing for the firm to maintain.

    WordPress vs a managed site
  • Versus a freelancer

Often good value for the build. Ask who answers when an attorney joins next year, and what a change costs.

    Freelancer vs a managed site
  • Versus a legal marketing agency

Agencies can run ads and campaigns, which are not part of our plans. For the website itself, compare monthly retainers, contracts and who owns the site.

What the AI Engine does and will not do, the estimator, weekly updates, articles, search and AI answers, schema, location pages and compliance pages.

Ten questions about the features

What does the AI Engine do for a law firm?

On Chambers and Firmwide it answers your phone and your site chat, asks which practice area the matter falls under, collects the caller's details and books a consultation into your calendar. It also answers SMS, Messenger and Instagram messages, sends you a call-analysis PDF after each call, and we file the A2P 10DLC registration so texts are delivered. It does not give legal advice; anything that would amount to advice is handed to a person at your firm.

Does the AI receptionist give legal advice?

No. It is configured to describe the firm, take details and book. When a caller asks a question that needs an attorney's judgment, it says so and passes the caller to your team with a summary of what was said. You review the script before launch and can change it at any time from your client portal.

What is the fee and retainer estimator?

A small tool on your site that shows a person an illustrative cost for a flat-fee matter, an hourly engagement at your published rate, or a retainer arrangement. It is labeled plainly as not a quote, not legal advice and not creating an attorney-client relationship. Every estimate is captured into your intake CRM with the person's contact details, so the follow-up call already has context.

What are the weekly detail updates?

Every week we check the things that go stale on a law firm site: attorney and staff changes, office hours, holiday closures, new or retired practice areas, consultation terms, speaking engagements and bar roles. You send the details, we publish them. They are handled separately from your monthly revisions and never count against them.

What kind of articles do you write for a law firm?

General information articles of 2,500 to 3,200 words on the questions people search before they call a lawyer: what a process involves, what a term means, what to bring to a consultation. 2 a week on Counsel and Chambers, 3 on Firmwide. Every article states plainly that it is general information and not legal advice, and cites its sources.

Will my firm appear in ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?

Nobody can guarantee that, and anyone who does is guessing. What we do makes an accurate mention more likely: answer-first pages, structured data matched to the text, an llms.txt file describing the firm, identical firm, attorney and office details everywhere, and AI crawlers allowed to read the site.

What structured data (schema) do you add?

LegalService and Organization for the firm, Attorney for each bio, Service for practice area pages, FAQPage wherever questions are answered on the page, and BreadcrumbList for navigation. Review markup is added only for real reviews you have permission to publish, never for examples. Every piece of markup matches text a visitor can see.

Do you build location pages for our offices and counties?

Yes, on every plan. Each office gets a page with the address, hours, directions and the attorneys who sit there, and each county or courthouse you appear in can have a page with local process details you supply and approve. They are written to be genuinely about that place, which is what local searches reward.

Which compliance pages come with the website?

A privacy policy, terms of use, a cookie policy with a consent banner that keeps analytics off until a visitor agrees, an accessibility statement on a build made with WCAG and the ADA in mind, attorney advertising disclaimers, and a notice on every form that sending it does not create an attorney-client relationship. On Chambers and Firmwide, SMS opt-ins carry consent wording written with the TCPA in mind. These help you meet your obligations; they are not legal advice, and you approve each one.

Do I need to log in and maintain anything on the site?

No. The site is custom coded and static, so there is no page builder to learn, no plugins to patch and nothing to break between updates. Requests go through your client portal and we make the change. Nobody at your firm needs a login to the website itself.
