Who we are

AboutGetLawyerWebsite

GetLawyerWebsite builds and manages websites for law firms across the United States, on one monthly fee, with the build fee charged only after the site is live and approved. We write the pages, connect the intake, host the site and keep it current, so nobody at the firm has to.

What we do

A managed website, not a website project

We sell one thing: a fully managed, custom-coded website for a law firm, on three monthly plans. Counsel is the website itself: one page per practice area, attorney bios with admissions, office pages, a consultation form wired into your intake CRM, a fee and retainer estimator, hosting, a domain, researched articles and weekly upkeep. Chambers adds the AI Engine, which answers calls, chat, texts and social messages and books consultations. Firmwide adds the Content Engine: social posts, reels and your Google Business Profile.

What makes it managed is what happens after launch. There is no dashboard for the firm to learn and nothing to patch. You reply to a weekly check-in, request changes in a client portal, and approve anything that publishes in the firm's name.

The team

Who builds it

Tavish the raven mascot on a rolling ladder in a law library, holding a rolled scroll
Tavish, our studio mascot. He is a raven, not a lawyer.

A small team of writers, designers and developers who work only on law firm websites builds every site. That focus is the point: the person writing your practice area pages has written the same kind of page for other firms in the same practice area, knows what the searcher is asking, and knows where the line is between general information and legal advice.

Two editorial personas, Eleanor Vasquez-Hart and Miles Okonjo, byline the articles on this site. They are fictional, hold no credentials and are not attorneys, which is stated on every author page.

The method

How we work

  • One onboarding call

We collect your practice areas, attorneys, admissions, offices, consultation terms and the intake tool you use. That call is the brief.

  • A build measured in days

7, 10 or 15 days depending on the plan, with the copy reviewed by you before anything goes live.

  • Weekly updates after launch

Attorneys, hours, terms and closures kept current every week, separately from your 5 monthly revisions.

  • Revisions in working days

Any change request, of any size, completed within 2 to 5 working days. No hourly billing, no dashboard for you to log into.

  • Guarantees in writing

90+ PageSpeed, and local ranking within 3 to 5 months of launch, both set out in the terms.

What we value

Six things wewill not compromise

These are the working rules behind every site we build, and the reason the terms on this site read the way they do.

  • Answer first

Every page we write, for you and for us, answers its own heading in the first sentence. A worried person should not have to hunt.

  • Terms in plain sight

Prices, revisions, turnaround and cancellation are published, not negotiated. The same goes for the consultation terms we put on your pages.

  • Nothing goes live without your approval

Pages, articles, estimator figures and the AI receptionist script are all approved by the firm before they publish.

  • No outcome claims, ever

We never write case results, never invent reviews or statistics and never use "win" language. A figure on a page has a source or it does not appear.

  • Speed is the standard, not an upgrade

90+ PageSpeed is written into the terms for every plan, because the person searching for a lawyer is usually on a phone.

  • Your firm owns its site

The domain is registered in the firm's name, and on cancellation we export your content and articles within 14 days.

What to expect

What working with uslooks like, week by week

From the first email to the weekly check-in, here is what you can expect and when. Every time frame below is one we publish in our terms.

  • A reply within one working day

Email us and a person replies within one working day. Business hours are 9:00 to 17:00 Central, Monday to Friday.

  • An onboarding call within 2 days

After the onboarding form, one call fills the gaps, agrees the tone and sets the launch date.

  • Live in 7, 10 or 15 days

Depending on the plan, with every page reviewed by you first. The build fee of $797 is invoiced only once you approve the live site.

  • Changes in 2 to 5 working days

5 revisions a month of any size through your client portal, plus weekly detail updates that never count against them.

  • A weekly check-in

Every week we ask what changed at the firm, so the site never lists someone who has left or hours that are wrong.

Compliance pages

The compliance pages thatcome with a client site

Every site we build launches with the policies and notices a law firm website is expected to carry, written for how that site works and approved by the firm.

  • Privacy policy

Written for how your site actually collects data: the consultation form, the estimator, chat and analytics. You approve the final wording.

  • Cookie policy with consent that really gates scripts

Analytics and marketing tags stay switched off until a visitor agrees. A banner that only says "we use cookies" while loading everything is not consent.

  • Terms of use

Plain terms for using the site, including that its content is general information and not legal advice.

  • Attorney advertising disclaimers

Built with attorney advertising rules in mind: an "attorney advertising" notice where your state bar expects one, no invented results, and any required wording you give us used exactly.

  • "No attorney-client relationship" notice on forms

Every form and the estimator say plainly that sending it does not create an attorney-client relationship and that confidential details should wait until the firm confirms it can take the matter.

  • Accessibility statement and an accessible build

Built with WCAG and the ADA in mind: keyboard access, visible focus, readable contrast, labeled form fields and alt text, with a statement telling visitors how to report a problem.

  • Text message consent wording

On Chambers and Firmwide, SMS opt-ins carry consent wording written with the TCPA in mind, and we file A2P 10DLC registration so texts are delivered.

These pages help you meet common obligations and are built with the rules in mind; they are not legal advice and are not a guarantee of compliance. You remain responsible for the rules of your own state bar, and you approve every page before it goes live.

Where we work

Firms in every state, from one team

We work with firms across the United States, from Texas, Florida, California, New York and Illinois to Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The team works remotely; your local pages are written for your own counties and courts.

  • Local pages, written for your courts

Office, county and courthouse pages built from the details you approve, never a template with the city name swapped.

  • Your state bar's wording

Advertising rules differ from state to state. We use the wording you give us, exactly.

  • Every US time zone

Billing notices run on Central business hours; the AI receptionist on Chambers and Firmwide answers in your own time zone, around the clock.

The line

What we are not

We are not a law firm, attorney or legal service provider. We are a website design and management company. Nothing on this site, and nothing on a site we build for a firm, is legal advice, and nothing on a client site creates an attorney-client relationship. The fee and retainer estimator shows illustrative figures the firm has published, labeled as not a quote. The AI receptionist takes details and books, and hands anything that would amount to advice to a person at the firm.

Every firm we work with is responsible for the accuracy of what it asks us to publish and for the advertising and professional conduct rules that apply to it in its state. We follow the wording you approve and never add a claim about results.

In the firm's words

What firms say about working with us

  • We took the wording about consultation preparation seriously, and I am glad we did. It is accurate about the process and careful not to promise what only a conversation can settle. We no longer open every call by correcting the website.

Florence EllsworthClient care lead, private client law firm, Worcester, MassachusettsService scope and expectations for consultation preparation
  • Consultation preparation messages used to belong to everyone, which meant they belonged to no one. Every inquiry arrives with an owner, a status, and the context attached. Duplicate replies and orphaned messages have both quietly ended.

Rowena HeywoodNew inquiries coordinator, dispute resolution practice, Chandler, ArizonaInquiry assignment and staff handover for consultation preparation
  • We knew the consultation preparation document was a problem; we had just never prioritized fixing it. The content is the same material, reorganized into headed sections that work on any screen. Nothing was taken away from the people who like paper.

Who is behind the service, where we work, how we handle advertising rules and what happens if you leave.

Questions about who we are

Is GetLawyerWebsite a law firm?

No. GetLawyerWebsite is a website design and management company. We are not a law firm, attorney or legal service provider, nothing on this site or on a site we build is legal advice, and nothing we build creates an attorney-client relationship.

Who is behind GetLawyerWebsite?

A small team of writers, designers and developers who work only on law firm websites. The two names that byline our articles are editorial personas, stated as fictional on their author pages; they are not attorneys.

Do you work with firms in my state?

Yes. We build for firms in every US state, including California, New York, Illinois, Georgia, Arizona and North Carolina. Everything happens remotely, through one onboarding call, a client portal and email.

Do you only build law firm websites?

This service is only for law firms, in ten practice areas from personal injury to bankruptcy. That focus is why the pages, the estimator and the AI receptionist script already fit the way firms work.

How do you handle attorney advertising rules?

We build with attorney advertising rules in mind, use any wording your state bar requires exactly as given, and never write results or testimonials. The firm remains responsible for the rules of its own state.

Can I speak to a person before I buy?

Yes. Book a demo for a live walk-through of the site your firm would get, or email us and a person replies within one working day.

What happens if we part ways?

There is no fixed term and no cancellation fee. Your domain is in your name, and we export your content and articles within 14 days of cancellation.

Are the reviews on your site real?

Yes. Every review on this site is from a real client, published with their permission, and names the person, their role and the kind of firm. There are no star ratings, because none were collected. Our case studies are real client projects too.
